It’s also a great way to help you practice self care or even increase your productivity. If you’ve always used apps and such for those needs, try switching to a bullet journal for a few months to see if you enjoy it and if that format suit you better. 

Learn a new language – Have you always wanted to learn a new language? A new language can be used to impact your studies, your career field, or something you use to motivate you to take a big leap a visit another part of the world. Whatever reason you may choose to learn a new language, it is a great way to help challenge yourself.

Take a new course to learn a new skill – Doing this can change your life for the better. For example, last year I took a photography course and I have used this new skillset to make a nice income from food photography. 

Write a book or ebook – Do you have a knowledge of something unique or a new perspective on something that you want to share? Then write an ebook or a book to share this knowledge and put yourself out there.

Something I do often is to grab my laptop to watch Netflix, while I use my phone to simultaneously update myself on the happening of social media. As a people, we seem to have gotten very attached to our devices . Try putting your devices away for 1 hour daily and use this time to work on something that’s more important to you.

Spend 30 minutes to 1 hour of quiet time daily – Use this time to meditate, to go for a quiet walk or to rest. This can be quite challenging to remain still and sift through your thought but give it a try and you’ll feel more connected to you.

Travel more – Have you been fantasizing about a quick vacation or getaway? Have you been coming up with all the excuses in the world as to why you can’t go? Take the leap, challenge yourself and take a trip to somewhere you’ve been thinking of going.
