It wasn’t until I listened to this amazing podcast by chance that I started see how not having a proper routine every morning was literally killing my productivity.

Straighten up the house
Clutter is the enemy to creativity. Therefore if you clean up your home early in the morning, you are setting yourself up for a day filled with productivity.
When you clean, not only do you get rid of physical clutter, you also get rid of mental clutter. You’re able to think more clearly, be more relaxed, you feel happier and you generally feel like you’re able to function and be creative and productive. This is why you should always make it a priority to clean your home every morning so that the rest fo the day can feel productive.
A clean home also makes you feel in control. Often times when I feel overwhelmed and everything seems to be sipping out of control, it means that my home isn’t as clean as it needs to be. This makes sense because if you cannot get one thing under control, the mind may get tricked into thinking you can’t get anything at all under control. Once my home has been cleaned I have a new outlook on things and I actually start to get things done!
Brain dump dump every morning.
A brain dump is taking all things that you’re thinking abut, stressing about, and Constantine remembering in your your head and dumping it somewhere- either on a notebook, bullet journal, planner, paper or document. The purpose of a brain dump is to help you clear your thoughts so that you can focus on the tasks at hand without any distractions.
